That would be very strange. It literally says like "1 unread notification"s
Oh really? So how does it know when to show up in the task bar and when it
should be cut off and put into the submenu for "unimportant" icons? Also, why
does it say "no messages unread" when you hover the notification icon then? 
A very concrete example would be the notification about 
how they behave on the system
