--- Comment #50 from Mattes D <[email protected]> --- (I'm from the linked duplicate bug 499015) I'm still experiencing the issue I reported there with an up-to-date-as-of-now OS. plasmashell reports being version 6.7.4, uname -r reports kernel 7.0.0-30-generic. I've never really had the problem this particular bug describes, in fact it has been my workaround - instead of manually turning off my monitor (which caused the bug to appear for me), I got into the habit of locking the screen and letting it turn off by energy saver, which has avoided the buggy behavior in my case. However, if I turn off the monitor and then later turn it back on, while the computer is not locked, I *sometimes* get the plasmashell stall, with disappearing main panel, as described in my bug. Unfortunately, reproducing seems difficult: when trying to repro, I was unable to do so, everything survived. I assume there're some deeper preconditions than just power-cycling the screen - maybe the energy saver needs to trigger while the screen is off? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
