Blurry screenshot at 100% zoom, 110% display scaling, with original window in
the front
DESCRIPTION
I was so close to filing a bug for Spectacle, but no, turns out it's Koko. If I
open a screenshot on my built-in screen, which is set to 110% display scaling,
and then I pick 100% zoom level in the photo view, the image looks blurry.
Especially noticeable with screenshots.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set your display to 110% display scaling.
2. Take a screenshot of your favourite app showing sharp text.
3. Open the screenshot with Koko and set zoom to 100%.
4. As comparison, open Krita and set zoom to 100% there.
OBSERVED RESULT
Koko shows a blurry screenshot. Krita shows the sharp, unaltered original.
EXPECTED RESULT
The screenshot displayed in Koko looks exactly the same as the original pixels
of the window it's captured from.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window):
KDE Plasma Version: git master at close to 6.8 Beta 1, specifically
Koko Commit: 0ace31e9504ef09e5c9a1d490d5b3bcb44804a3d from Aug 14, 2026
KDE Frameworks Version: git master at more or less 6.30
Qt Version: 6.11.2-3 from Arch packages
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
If I move the screenshotted window next to Koko's 100%-zoom view, it's the same
size. This suggests that perhaps the image scale is correct, but perhaps the
image view doesn't have its origin at an integer screen pixel boundary.

showing sharp text, on a 1920x1200 screen at 110% scaling, in front of Koko
showing a screenshot of the exact same app at 100% zoom. (I know, several
layers of screenshots feel very meta to me as well.)
