This has been happening for months without me being fully aware of it. Dolphin corrupts transfers larger than about 800 MB. It's maybe 1/10 transfers at that size. At 900 MB it's maybe 1/5. By the time it gets to 1 GB or 1.5 GB it's corrupting most transfers. If I send multiple files, it doesn't seem to corrupt ones smaller than 700 MB. Destination is a CIFS mount of an Ubuntu server 24.04.4 smbd 4.19.5 share. This is strictly a KDE/dolphin issue. The server and other OSes (windows) work fine. Even running cp to move the file works. KIO log shows kf.kio.core.copyjob increasing emitted processedSize while kf.kio.gui regularly runs filepreview every ~20 emits. I disabled previews in the destination network folder and it seemed to fix the corruption.
