In animation and film, a "shot" (plano) is the continuous footage between two
cuts.
Currently, to number our shots, we have to manually create a Title clip on a
higher track for every single cut, naming them sequentially (e.g., `_PL0001_0`,
`_PL0002_0`, etc., where "PL" stands for Plano/Shot, and the `_0` is the
version).
Would it be possible to create a dynamic counter that automatically detects the
individual clips/cuts on a specific track below it and counts them sequentially
(1, 2, 3...)? Ideally, it would allow users to input a custom prefix like
`PL000X` or `SH000X`, where the "X" auto-increments with each new clip on the
timeline.
