Bug ID: 525862
Summary: Shutdown timer fails on first attempt
Classification: Plasma
Product: plasmashell
Version First master
Reported In:
Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: Power and Battery widget
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected], [email protected]
Target Milestone: 1.0
DESCRIPTION
When pressing the super key and then clicking shut down, a screen appears
saying system will shut down in 30 seconds. If I wait the 30 seconds instead of
pressing shut down now, nothing will happen. No shutdown, no error message. The
shutdown timer screen goes away and returns to showing the desktop as if I
cancelled it. This only happens on the first attempt of each power on. Doing
the exact same thing a 2nd time will result in the timer successfully shutting
down the computer.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open start menu
2. Click shut down
3. Wait 30 seconds
OBSERVED RESULT
Failure to shut down
EXPECTED RESULT
Successful shutdown
