--- Comment #7 from Norbert Harrer <[email protected]> --- > My journal also supports your regression range. plasma-discover 6.7.5-1.fc44 > was installed here on 2026-09-11 19:17 EDT. There are no "KWin failed to > complete logout" entries between Feb 6 and Sep 13. After that there are > six, between Sep 13 and Sep 18 (13, 14, 16 x2, 18 x2). There are four older > entries from Jan/Feb that I haven't classified yet. They may be unrelated > manual logouts. Thanks. I confirmed this on my system by downgrading plasma-discover and its subpackages to 6.7.4-1.fc44 (7 packages: discover, libs, packagekit, offline-updates, notifier, kns, flatpak), leaving everything else untouched, and repeating the exact procedure that fails on 6.7.5: stage an update, pick Restart from the dropdown, let it finish. It rebooted as expected. Session-bus capture of that run is attached. No "KWin failed to complete logout" anywhere in that boot. This isolates the change to Discover itself. plasma-workspace, kwin, PackageKit and the fwupd daemon were identical across both runs; only the plasma-discover packages differed. So the duplicate logoutAndReboot is what 6.7.5 introduced, and everything downstream (KWin's Error.Failed, plasma-shutdown's resetLogout, the cancelled logout) follows from it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
