DESCRIPTION
When a window that's being captured in a screenshare is closed, the screenshare
seems to either get stuck on the last frame of that window or it switches to
displaying a frame from another window that was never supposed to be shared.
(Looks like the latter happens when focus changes? It's not very consistent.)
This has some privacy concerns, as it may lead to leaking sensitive
information.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open OBS (add a PipeWire screen capture if not present)
2. Select a window when asked what to capture.
3. Close the window.
4. Observe what OBS shows when other windows are opened or gain focus.
OBSERVED RESULT
OBS shows contents from other windows.
EXPECTED RESULT
I would expect the capture to become entirely black once the window is closed.
