--- Comment #7 from Cherkah <[email protected]> --- Since this ticket was created, usage patterns have evolved. For instance, some people—myself included—don't use the KDE PIM/Akonadi suite at all (preferring Thunderbird instead), or Okular (using licensed Master PDF Editor instead)... In its current version, Qrca can read a QR code from an image, but implementing QR code recognition within PDF files would certainly improve usability. I haven't yet tried the `qrca --desktopfile MyFile` command to generate an action in the clipboard settings upon QR code detection. However, if the application could identify QR codes directly from the clipboard, that would be fantastic—even if it doesn't read PDFs. With a few refinements and added features, this application—which is already built on Qt6—will be every bit as good as its GNOME counterpart. So, thank you to the developer for maintaining this app. ## info system Operating System: Fedora Linux 44 KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.30.0 Qt Version: 6.11.2 Graphics Platform: Wayland -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
