Iván <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #47 from Iván <[email protected]> --- Confirming on Kubuntu 26.04, kdeconnect 25.12.3-0ubuntu1, PipeWire 1.6.2, bluez 5.85. Hardware: CSR 4.0 USB dongle (0a12:0001), Creative Sound Blaster GS3 speaker, A2DP/SBC. Symptom: heavy stutter at stream start, then intermittent dropouts. Did not happen before upgrading from kdeconnect 23.08.5. btmon shows back-to-back HCI Inquiry commands (10.24 s each, restarted immediately after Inquiry Complete) for as long as kdeconnectd runs; `bluetoothctl show` reports Discovering: yes. pw-top reports zero xruns and hciconfig zero HCI errors during the dropouts, so the loss is on the air, consistent with comment #26's analysis. Killing kdeconnectd stops discovery instantly and the audio is clean. `kdeconnect-cli --disable-backend BluetoothLinkProvider` resolves it while keeping the LAN backend working. (Diagnosis assisted by Claude; all measurements below were taken on my machine with btmon, pw-top and hciconfig.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
