            Bug ID: 526462
           Summary: Easier to start timers
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kteatime
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

Right now to start a timer I have to click the tray arrow to expand the full
menu, find the icon, click/rightclick to spawn the menu and select the timer's
name.

Maybe some of that friction could be avoided.

I would expect an icon to always be visible in the tray area, ready to be
clicked to start a timer.

Right now clicking shows a popup to see the remaining time, but I find that
unintuitive.

It should show the menu when clicked.

I already see how much time is left by hovering the icon.

Maybe add an option to set that?

Click -> Menu

And have a persistent icon?

To start timers fast.
