AIMP 6 DND within its window, Xwayland

I can reproduce the same "Not Available" cursor issue with AIMP (v6.00.3087
Beta 6, GTK3, XWayland) on KDE Plasma 6.7.5 Wayland.

Key distinction from the original report: The bug occurs only for drag-and-drop
within the AIMP window (e.g., music library tree → playlist). Dragging a file
from Dolphin (Wayland) into AIMP (XWayland) works fine.

Environment:
Distro: CachyOS (rolling, Arch-based)
Kernel: 7.2.8-1-cachyos
Desktop: KDE Plasma 6.7.5, KWin (Wayland), Xwayland 24.1.13
AIMP: v6.00.3087 Beta 6, GTK3-64-bit (30.09.2026), XWayland

Why this points to KWin: The cursor state is not correctly propagated for
same-window XWayland→XWayland drags, even though the drop itself works.
External Wayland→XWayland drags are unaffected. The AIMP developer also
confirmed it does not occur on GNOME Wayland.

Related reports (same symptom, different apps/toolkits):

Bug 496243 describes the same underlying symptom for Java Swing. This report
adds the case of internal same-window DND, which may share the same root cause.
