DESCRIPTION
After Fedora 44 updated to plasma 6.7.5, plasmashell and Plasma Keyboard crash
on startup using a previous account. It does *not* crash on a newly created
account with default configuration.
I have not, however, been able to find a reduced configuration which does *not*
crash, even after trying to match the default configuration as closely as
possible. I have occasionally managed to stumble onto configurations where
Plasma Keyboard doesn't crash, but I have yet to find the common denominator
between these configurations.
The crash happens inside libfontconfig and is 100% reproducible.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Log in to a Plasma session with the preexisting, customized account.
OBSERVED RESULT
1. Instant popups that Plasma Keyboard
