cwo <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|REPORTED |RESOLVED CC| |[email protected] Resolution|--- |UPSTREAM --- Comment #4 from cwo <[email protected]> --- This is a recent Chromium-browser/Fontconfig/Qt bug. It causes Chromium to write a bad fontconfig file, which then crashes Qt. As I understand it, fixes are forthcoming from all three projects. In the mean time, you can use the instructions at https://www.reddit.com/r/Kubuntu/comments/1wo84kz/how_to_fix_crashes_when_googlechrome_corrupts/pbr5ls4/ to delete the broken config. (Some things like pinning old versions are specific to Kubuntu, but the main fix to get your system working again should also work on Fedora). However, until fixes are released, the problem will recur as soon as you start a Chromium-based browser (Chromium, Chrome, Brave, etc.). I recommend using another browser, or downgrading the one you have until the fixes have made their way to you. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
