            Bug ID: 526650
Summary: RFE: provide option not to display low memory warning
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kdenlive
      Version First 26.08.1
       Reported In:
          Platform: Flatpak
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: User Interface & Miscellaneous
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

kdenlive displays a warning when memory is low. In my case, I have 64 GB RAM
and 64 GB swap (on a fast NVMe device), with other long-running
memory-intensive jobs in the background (I do regret not picking up another 128
GB when the picking was good, but that ship has sailed). I'm aware that
available RAM is very low and find the alert to be unnecessary. If kdenlive
runs slow because of that (it really didn't, in the event), it's fine.

I'm not asking to eliminate the warning altogether, just provide an option to
shut it off for those of us who don't need it.
