Definitely used some AI help, but it doesn't need ydotool, and works for the emoji picker too. I think a better short term fix might be to handle the two parts of fixing this separately? The really controversial part is "how do we paste/insert the result?", so let's just punt on that for now. Instead, have Klipper and Emojier emit DBus events for "ClipboardEntrySelected" and "EmojiSelected". Then it would be a lot easier for folks to just capture those events, and paste/insert rseults with ydotool or libei or whatever other tool they wanted.
