            Bug ID: 526875
Summary: Grayscale mode causes UI latency/lag when opening,
closing, and transitioning windows, menus, and effects
                    across Plasma and applications

DESCRIPTION
When Grayscale Mode is enabled. There is weird behavior with KDE Plasma and
open applications.
For example closing applications takes much longer than usual. The same
behavior occur when opening or closing context menus and menu bars across all
applications. Additionally, Peek at Desktop fails to hide applications
completely leaving window edges, the Task Switcher remains on screen after an
application is selected, and the Power/Session confirmation dialog (Reboot,
Shut Down) experiences delays when clicking either to proceed or to cancel.
I have the Fade desktop effects enabled to open/close windows and popups. The
other filters in the Color Blindness Correction don't have these problems.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open System Settings.
2. Navigate to Accessibility > Color Blindness Correction.
3. Enable All (grayscale mode).
4. Attempt to close an application, open context menus, menu bars, or trigger
the Task Switcher and Peek at Desktop.

OBSERVED RESULT
1. I noticed closing an application using the titlebar close button shows a
delay after clicking.
2. This also occurs when closing an application from the Task Manager, the
context menu takes more time to disappear.
3. In any application, right-clicking selected text to open the context menu is
delayed. When clicking Paste, the text pastes right away, but the context menu
freezes on screen for a moment before closing.
4. In application menu bars (e.g., File, Edit), switching between menus is
delayed, leaving the previous dropdown menu stuck on screen for a moment
5. Also, triggering Peek at Desktop leaves non-clickable window edges visible
instead of hiding windows completely.
6. When using the Task Switcher (Alt + Tab), selecting an application brings
the window to the front, but the Task Switcher overlay remains frozen on screen
for a moment.
7. In the Power/Session dialog (reboot, shutdown), clicking either to proceed
or to cancel suffers a delay.

EXPECTED RESULT
1. Applications close immediately with Fade desktop effect, whether closed via
the titlebar button or the Task Manager.
2. Context menus and menu bars open and dismiss immediately upon interaction
without visual lag.
3. The Task Switcher dismisses instantly once an application is selected.
4. Peek at Desktop completely hides all active windows without leaving window
edges.
5. Power and session actions respond immediately upon clicking.
