Error message when starting digiKam

DESCRIPTION
I have digiKam running on Fedora 44 KDE Edition. digiKam was installed months
ago using dnf from the Fedora repository. digiKam has been working correctly
for months. I used pretty standard settings (I believe the database is SQLite,
as it's the default) , my pictures and database are stored on an external 1TB
HDD. The external HDD is NOT full, it has 42% free space. After having this
problem I made sure that my user has read and write permissions for the
database files: I'm the owner and have rw rights to all 4 databases.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect and mount the external HDD where I keep my photos and digiKam
database
2. Try to launch digiKam
3. The main digiKam interface doesn't open, instead a window pops up with an
error message

OBSERVED RESULT
A window pops up with an error message:
Following privileges are not assigned to you:
 CREATE TABLE
Check your privileges on the database and restart digiKam

EXPECTED RESULT
digiKam starts normally, as it did repeatedly during the last months.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window):
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.30.0
Qt Version: 6.11.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Looking at other bug reports with similar messages, I saw users are often
requested to share capture debug traces logs, so I took one which I share here:
