--- Comment #9 from MikeC <[email protected]> --- In Arch Linux the recent updates have led to the only reasonable alternative greeter that was sddm no longer being able to start at boot. So getting PLM running as the login greeter for a plasma wayland session is the only reasonable way to login now. However the issue or power management not being functional in the greeter itself has remained as in this bug report ever since the plasma login manager was released. Various suggestions for working around and setting up configs to allow the greeter to powersave the monitor when no users are logged in after a timeout have been tried without success. Yet one of the aims listed for the project is still for full power management in the greeter, but this seems not to have any active development that is visible. Is there any current work on this taking place? It is an important feature that is holding back full use of Plasma Login Manager. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
