You can check it in the kwin debug console (search for it in krunner). I regularly run scripts in Konsole that start Kate sometime later, and with focus stealing prevention medium that Kate window reliably gets put below the active window. If I run "sleep 10; glxgears" and start typing in Firefox, that glxgears window does get focus though. My last attempt at fixing that didn't end very optimistically though, X11 focus handling is properly and thoroughly broken, nearly no apps do the right things. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
