I don't know. I remember it was introduced in 6.7.0 and quickly disabled in later versions of 6.7.x, because of issues. In 6.7.0 I had a lot of issues with HDR (HDR->HDR and HDR->SDR mapping), but SDR with ICC was working perfectly in direct scanout. In 6.8.0 the SDR with ICC is also broken. Do you see different colors and saturation in HDR when toggling direct scanout on/off?
