KWallet being enabled fits bug 526368: in Frameworks 6.31 the password server waits for the wallet to open, and while it waits no password dialog can appear. That's fixed in Frameworks 6.32, sheduled for release November 13th. To confirm on your system, could you try two things: 1. When Dolphin is stuck waiting, check whether a KDE Wallet window asking for the wallet password is open somewhere, maybe behind other windows or on another desktop. 2. Disable KWallet in System Settings > KDE Wallet (uncheck "Enable the KDE wallet subsystem"), log out and back in, then try sftp://[email protected]/ again a few times. If the password dialog appears every time with the wallet disabled, we know the cause. You can enable it again afterwards. This would confirm whether the bug is fixed and is a duplicate to 526368. Or you can wait for KDE Framworks 6.32 and confirm then. But then a fix can only arrive a month later if that wasn't it... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
