It worked fine until last week before I updated. I have also noticed similar issues with - my self-created btop icon which launches in alacritty and is now sorted together with my alacritty windows. - the Microsoft Teams PWA icon I created in Chromium, which when opened shows as a normal Chromium icon. I don t use Chromium for anything else, but it would be in the same group if I did. I checked the desktopFile ids and they are all different from the parent program. It feels like it is using it is using resourceName instead of resourceClass or something. I could trigger a similar thing for a couple of versions when installing new software. Everytime a desktop file was changed or created, it would reload all icons and it would sort them wrong (which I guess is a different, but possibly related bug), but after killing that program and starting it again, it would be fixed.
