What makes you think so? After doing more research I am still unsure how this issue can happen for Kdenlive given the aforementioned fact that MinGW is used. MinGW apps do not depend on vcredist. It aounds strange to me. The provided information is unfortunately not enough to investigate this issue further. I assume that you downloaded Kdenlive from the offival downlad page at htrps://kdenlive.org/download If that is not the case please let us know.
