NVIDIA-primary on 6.8.1 with it set: desktop and lock screen wallpaper render, windows repaint without resizing, hover is immediate. env | grep -E 'NVIDIA|DRI' is empty, in the login shell and in the kwin_wayland and plasmashell environments, with and without the variable. wayland-info attached for both NVIDIA-primary sessions, without and with KWIN_ALLOW_DMABUF_V6=0.
