We could: 1) Wait for Calc to stop offering PNGs for cell content, that would solve both. 2) Reject PNGs from Calc, that would also solve both. 3) Try being clever and notice clipboard contents is taking way too long to arrive and just abort. That would solve this (and all other "freeze because the client is doing a weird thing") bug but not the other one.
