DESCRIPTION:
After recent 2026-10-16 update ( https://justpaste.it/9l2s6 ), I have noticed
full screen video playback defects/glitches/artifacts seen in both desktop
player MPV, VLC and web browser Librewolf in the full screen played video. It
is possibly all apps in full screen. Defects are visible randomly, sometimes
every second, sometimes i have not seen it for minutes (if i am not mistaken).
Non-full screen video is OK, even if i am in a full screen and move mouse to
display a seek bar the issues stops (until seek bar is displayed).
When i try to record full screen video with that defects/glitches/artifacts
using Spectacle, then the recorded video does NOT contain that issues...
Running full screen player like this:
mpv --vo=gpu --gpu-context=wayland --no-config
NOT helped to avoid the issues.
This issue did not happen before that update to 6.8.0 and most recent update to
Plasma 6.8.1 not helped.
