Discord incorrectly re-registering keybinds
Discord recently updated to register global shortcuts to the system. When
defining a keybind, you first choose the function in Discord, and your
preferred key. See first screenshot for visual.
An XDG popup will then ask to register this key with the system. Accepting
this will add an entry under Shortcuts, with that key as default keybind. See
second screenshot.
This works fine by itself, and is a huge step forward for features like
push-to-talk on gamepads.
However, there's a problem where Discord continually tries to re-register the
same hotkey. Notably, when switching from voice detect mode to push-to-talk,
it pops up a permission portal every time. This happens even if the key is
already registered. See third screenshot.
Sometimes, this results in duplicate rows in the Shortcuts panel.
I am submitting this bug on behalf of another user on Bazzite. Unfortunately,
this bug appears to be a bit of an edge case. I'm personally unable to
reproduce it on Fedora 44, and can't find other online reports of this bug.
