--- Comment #13 from Eric Beuchel <[email protected]> --- I tested digiKam 9.2.0 for Windows, build 20261023T164033, Git revision 2d7de7bf8585977a6b71536c408354efb9ac9cca. Commit af6bf23eaec9c70b5d6a8feafb412bec06c94907 is already included in this build’s source history. I also verified that the translator implementations still use createRequestWithUserAgent. However, translating the synthetic sentence “A red ladybird is sitting on a green leaf.” from x-default to German (de-DE) produced these results: - Google: HTTP 429. - Yandex: “Error: Unable to find Yandex SID in web version.” - Bing: “Cannot parse automatically detected language” (translated from the German error message). - Lingva: No error dialog, but the English sentence remained unchanged under de-DE. The additional test “dog, cat, traffic light” also remained unchanged. These tests used unsaved metadata-template fields inside digiKam. No test metadata was saved to images, and no automatic tagging scan was started. Google was restored as the selected service afterward. Separately, the automatic-tagging translation target list was empty. This is distinct from the translation-service failures and does not establish what settings were used during earlier tagging runs. The User-Agent change is therefore already present, but it does not resolve the observed translation failures on this Windows installation. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
