I think the title contradicts the report. I made completely puplic my Windows 10 folder and no credentials were needed. When it was not completely public i had to enter the username and password. The reporter write it found a solution in reddit which also points to a bug in smbclient that solved his issue. The problem is not encountered by me and the user found also what was the problem himself Can you still reproduce this with Dolphin 26.08.1 or later? If you can, please set this back to CONFIRMED adding more information in how to reproduce the bug. If not set the status as resolved--fixed. Thanks.
