            Bug ID: 527811
Summary: Pressing ctrl+c to copy sometimes ignores selection
                    and copies everything
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kinfocenter
      Version First 6.8.1
       Reported In:
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION

Pressing Ctrl+C in "About this system" sometimes ignores selection and copies
everything. This seems to be exactly the same problem as described in
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=510095, which was closed without
investigation (I suppose), because it was reported on an old Plasma.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Go to System Settings > System > About this computer
2. Select some text
3. Hit Ctrl+C

OBSERVED RESULT

Sometimes the selected text is copied, sometimes the selection is ignored and
the whole summary is copied.

EXPECTED RESULT

Only the selected text is copied.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window):
KDE Plasma Version: 6.8.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.31.0
Qt Version: 6.12.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Also, another minor bug here: successful copy of the selection erases the
selection instead of keeping it.

The bug happens around 30% of time. To reproduce try selecting something,
Ctrl+C and then paste somewhere a few times (including selecting again).
