--- Comment #2 from Andy <[email protected]> --- Yes. The folder already contained photos that I had organized logically, assigned a capture date to, and renamed. Later on, I discovered additional scans related to the same subject, which I then had to incorporate into the existing collection. Attempting to sort them manually—by date or name—ended up causing a fair amount of disorder. Instead of dragging and dropping the new photos with my mouse, I integrated them by adjusting their filenames. This process is significantly more labor-intensive than simply moving files around. Afterward, I readjusted the capture date and time for all the photos—applying an interval—and then had the filenames updated based on those capture dates.
