Same here, confirming on AMD.
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE, CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- CachyOS, Plasma 6.8.1 Wayland, Mesa 26.2.5
- Screens: 2560x1440@144 (HDMI) + 1920x1080@60 (DP), VRR incapable on both
- Moving/maximizing windows stutters with both screens on. Disabling the 60 Hz
screen (kscreen-doctor output.DP-2.disable) makes it smooth instantly.
- Same result on kernel 7.3.0 and LTS 6.18.55, so not kernel-related.
- Downgrading only kwin to 6.8.0 (plasma-workspace stays on 6.8.1) fixes it
completely.
