Sometimes the black box artifact effect triggers after immediately hitting META+W, sometimes also on META+G. I've tested to see if this is an issue with multiple displays at different refresh rates, but the bug is also reproduced on my system with only one single panel connected. I've also noticed this on previous nvidia display drivers prior to 615.78.08.
