--- Comment #2 from shoonya <[email protected]> --- Thanks for looking, Oliver. I think I have found the cause on my side, and I can no longer reproduce the problem. My host was running krdpserver from a custom systemd override: ExecStart=/usr/bin/krdpserver --address 192.168.86.101 --plasma Environment=LIBVA_DRIVER_NAME=iHD NoNewPrivileges=false With that override, I was seeing the scaling issue as described. I have now removed the override completely and rebooted, so the stock unit runs plain /usr/bin/krdpserver, and everything works as expected with the same host scale (125%) and the same Remmina client. It also works as expected with "Enable exclusive mode" both on and off. NoNewPrivileges=false made no difference either way. I haven't isolated which of the other two options caused it; --plasma is my first suspect, since it changes how the screen is captured. I can re-add them one at a time and report back if that's useful. As requested: kscreenctl list-outputs, before connecting (mode list trimmed): $ kscreenctl list-outputs Output: 1 DP-1 c84200a5-a1b5-47ea-8af0-72a00ba50114 enabled connected priority 1 DisplayPort replication source:0 Modes: 1:[email protected]*! 2:[email protected] 3:[email protected] 4:[email protected] 5:[email protected] 6:[email protected] 7:[email protected] 8:[email protected] 9:[email protected] 10:[email protected] 11:[email protected] 12:[email protected] 13:[email protected] 14:[email protected] 15:[email protected] 16:[email protected] 17:[email protected] 18:[email protected] 19:[email protected] 20:[email protected] 21:[email protected] 22:[email protected] 23:[email protected] 24:[email protected] 25:[email protected] 26:[email protected] 27:[email protected] 28:[email protected] 29:[email protected] 30:[email protected] 31:[email protected] Custom modes: None Geometry: 0,0 3072x1728 Scale: 1.25 Rotation: 1 Overscan: 0 Vrr: incapable RgbRange: Automatic HDR: incapable Wide Color Gamut: incapable ICC profile: none Color profile source: sRGB Color power preference: prefer efficiency and performance Brightness control: supported, set to 56% and dimming to 100% DDC/CI: allowed Color resolution: automatic (10), range: [6; 12] bits per color Allow EDR: unsupported Sharpness control: unsupported Automatic brightness: unsupported Auto Rotate Policy: incapable Disabling: supported Adaptive backlight modulation: unsupported kscreenctl list-outputs, while connected with Remmina: $ kscreenctl list-outputs Output: 1 Virtual-virtual-xdp-kde-org.kde.krdpserver 3d5eeb29-f744-476f-aa7c-4aa3f47f047b enabled connected priority 0 Unknown replication source:0 Modes: 1:[email protected]*! Its geometry (3072x1728) matches DP-1's logical size at 125% scale. Apologies for the noise. This can probably be closed as resolved on my end, unless you'd like me to do any follow up. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
