[email protected] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |michael.junold+KDE@mailbox. | |org --- Comment #6 from [email protected] --- Created attachment 198016 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=198016&action=edit gdb backtrace of all threads, plasmashell 6.8.2 / Qt 6.11.2, attached 10 s after SIGTERM during shutdown (no debug symbols) Same hang here, with an identical backtrace (main → ~ToolTipArea → ~QQuickWindow → PlasmaQuick::~DialogBackground → ~QQuickPixmapReader → QThread::wait; the QQuickPixmapReader thread idles in QThread::exec()), but on Qt 6.11.2, not 6.12 (Fedora 44, qt6-qtdeclarative 6.11.2-2, Wayland, AMD RX 9060 XT). For me it started with the upgrade from Plasma 6.8.1 to 6.8.2: with 6.8.1 plasmashell exited in about 0.3 s, and since 6.8.2 it hits the 40 s stop timeout on every shutdown (4/4). Qt was not updated in between. So the issue also reproduces on Qt 6.11 once Plasma 6.8.2 is installed. Does the qtdeclarative fix (change 777121) also apply to the 6.11 branch, or is a backport needed for distributions still on Qt 6.11? Backtrace attached (gdb, attached 10 s after SIGTERM, without debug symbols). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
