--- Comment #3 from Harald Weissmueller <[email protected]> --- Created attachment 197995 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=197995&action=edit confineToBoundingBox output.scale patch (In reply to Frog Chen from comment #1) > It seems to have something to do with confineToBoundingBox() in > pointer_input.cpp, where a floating point position input is clamped at > (right − 1.0, bottom − 1.0). > > https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/blob/v6.8.2/src/pointer_input.cpp#L69-70 > > Changing the constant 1.0 to something like 0.01 makes the problem go away. It seems it needs to be 0.5 with 200% display scaling. I first tried 0.01 but that breaks the "edge barrier" feature for multi-monitor setups. With 0.01, the barrier doesn't work going from the left monitor to the right, it only works going from right monitor to the left. The attached patch is me trying to come up with changes to the file to generalize that "geometry.right - 1.0" for any display scaling. It changes it into "output.geometry.right - (1.0 / output.scale)". -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
