So it seems that the crashes I have attached are just plasma not wanting to start as root, because I tried running `sudo systemctl --user restart plasma-plasmashell` when version without sudo didn't work. It's probable that the shell didn't actually hang and it was just being unresponsive. I tried running `systemctl --user restart plasma-plasmashell` and when it didn't help I run it with sudo which forced the first crash.
