QSharedMemory error messages from Linux Krita/qt-gmic

My likely configuration was Krita with Qt 5.9.0 and gmic-qt with Qt 5.6.2
(Kubuntu 16.04.2, Qt built from source). I'm attaching the terminal output that
I saved at the time.

The issue I encountered involved QSharedMemory, which is used for passing image
data back and forth.
While that is a problem in itself, I don't think it's relevant to this
particular bug report.
Here, G'MIC is able to send commands to Krita, but the reverse isn't working;
which makes me suspect something is wrong with the socket instead.
