(What I can promise is that I won't be able to test anything on a newer Mac than I own (2011) or on 10.13 :-/) Solid comes with a `solid-hardware` utility (possibly called solid-hardware5) which can be used to see what is being detected: ``` > solid-hardware list details ``` or ``` > solid-hardware list nonportableinfo ``` Does either output show something that you recognise as your card reader?
