When I rebooted after a kernel update and logged in, the progress bar took
quite long to finish. When the desktop finally showed, it was empty (no panel,
no widgets on the desktop) but effects and keyboard shortcuts for the effectes
worked. So I killed the X server with CTRL+ALT+BS,BS. When I logged in again, I
got the crash dialog.
I experienced this before, but I could not find out what the reason was.
