As you don't use digiKam, i recommend to use the 6.0.0 pre-release bundles that we update frequently with the current implementation. Note : between 5.x and 6.0.0, the digiKam database schema change, but as you use only Showfoto, this have no effect. Showfoto don't use digiKam DB.
