Nate Graham <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|REPORTED |CONFIRMED CC| |[email protected] Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #2 from Nate Graham <[email protected]> --- In the abstract, it doesn't seem ideal that all the document-open icons use folder iconography. However, I believe this is done for reasons of historical familiarity; "open" icons have been a folder since forever, and I think the desire was to keep that visual cue that at this point has been burned into people's brains for 30 years. Now, maybe it's time to re-examine this and choose an icon that makes more sense for the present than for the pats. Or maybe the document-open icons can stay using folder iconography, but be re-done to maybe show a document popping out of a folder or something, or some other thing (not an icon designer). Or maybe Kompare should choose different icons to work around the issue. Probably needs more VDG discussion. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
