SUMMARY
Firstly disable the progress tracking in the task manager and system tray
following the steps below:
Right click on notifications applet in the system tray -> Notifications
Settings -> uncheck "Track file transfers and other jobs", click "ok" button.
Right click the task manager in the plasma panel, select "configure task
manager...", uncheck "Show progress and status information in task buttons",
click "ok" button and restart plasma session.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. extract a big compressed file via some option available in the context menu
of Dolphin (the window showing the progress of the extraction shows up)
2. check "Keep this window open after transfer is complete" during the
extraction
3.
OBSERVED RESULT
the window that shows the progress closes when the extraction is completed.
EXPECTED RESULT
Keep the window open after the extraction
