Welcome to Windows world, with the high security level of sub system which refuse to install client application, or break install without information/report. You have an antivirus working in the background ? Do not search more... Even if digiKam for Windows is cross compiled under Linux (no virus is possible in this case), the application is in certain cases detected as malware. In fact the malware is the Antivirus itself.
