Same problem as nilsocket

If I insert the Indian keyboard layout in the keyboard layout configuration in
systemsettings I can't switch between the different keyboard layouts, and the
applet in the systray disappears.

I have added the Indian keyboard layout as follows:

Limit Selection by Language: Any language
Layout                     : Indian
Variant                    : Sanskrit (KaGaPa, Phonetic)
Label                      : in
