            Bug ID: 426909
           Summary: Select all clips
           Product: kdenlive
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: User Interface
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
"Select ALL" clips feature is needed. The user should be able to type
Control-A in the timeline to select all clips, so that they can be easily moved
all at once, for example.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Make lots of small clips
2. Type Control-A, to select them ALL, in order to move them all at once.

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens. Unfortunately kdenlive has no "Select ALL" feature. As a
workaround, the user must manually click on EVERY clip to select them all,
which is tedious and error prone.

EXPECTED RESULT
Control-A in the timeline should select all clips. The same functionality
should also be available through the Timeline-->Selection menu.

This should be very easy to implement. I am astounded that it is still
missing, since it seems so basic.
