Tymond <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|REPORTED |CONFIRMED Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #1 from Tymond <[email protected]> --- I've had this problem as well. The guides are a bit too sensitive (the area where you can click to start dragging the guide is too big), and it doesn't change (canvas-pixels-wise) with zoom, which is usually a good enough workaround for other issues like that (snapping of the move tool when you don't want to use it, for example). So in my opinion what needs to be done here is: - making the section relative to zoom (always the same size of the area based on zoom) - making it big enough to be usable, but small enough to not disturb users. However there is a good workaround. If you don't use guides at all, just go to View -> and uncheck "Show Guides". If you use guides, but want to paint and don't want them to be moved accidentally, go to Grids & Guides docker and check "Lock guides". Both will allow you to paint everywhere without moving the guides or triggering the guides-moving tool. It would be good if the default settings were a bit more user-friendly though. I'm setting this as Confirmed, but there is a basis for downgrading it to a wish since there are workarounds for various workflows, so it's not actually breaking anything without a way to repair it. Thanks for the report! Although small note for the future - "X is useless/X is the worst" doesn't really help getting it fixed earlier or anything. Sure, sometimes it's good to know if an issue is a constant annoyance or just something the user noticed and then learned to avoid, but it's usually clear from the description of the issue or of the workflow :) (Also for deeper discussions about features, please go to krita-artists.org which is a very good place to talk to other artists.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
