            Bug ID: 429805
Summary: Please remove dep. for networkmanager
           Product: Powerdevil
           Version: 5.20.3
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

Networkmanager is Gnome's app and I don't want it because it messes up my
internet connection when used with dhcpcd. It used to mess up even when I was
on Gnome, but I could uninstall it there without any problems.

Here, however, a native KDE app - powerdevil has a dep. on it.

I'm not sure what happened, because when I read past changelogs for Plasma 5.8
it clearly says:

- Make NetworkManagerQt and BluezQt optional. Commit.

It was removed. Why did you make it dep. again?

OBSERVED RESULT

Cannot uninstall networkmanager without powerdevil too.

EXPECTED RESULT

Uninstall NT, while having powerdevil intact.
