SUMMARY
I was horrified to see that the best feature of KDE (Kick-Off) was changed.

This is hence a feature request to maintain the "old launcher" in some form, as
the rewrite will certainly not be everyone's cup of tea.
My problems are:
* It is too big with too much shown at the same time the old one was much more
compact
* Long scrolling lists with alphabetical ordered apps/folders are idiotic so
why start with one?
* My most frequent uses are: Favourites, History, and Computer (full app list
as mentioned are rarely used by me ever, search is way faster). The new app
makes History and Comp way more complicated to use as one has to go to Places
(Why is "History/Time" a "Place/Location") and then move the mouse upwards for
miles to get to select Comp or Hist. Before it was just a bit right left
I understand that the change was probably triggered because others did not like
the old kick-off or that there was a perceived need to be more like windows 10
(we don't!).
So the actual question is there any way to preserve the old kick-off as an
"Alternative Launcher"? Or if the technical underbellies casued the need to
change it in the first place can there be a flavour of the new launcher which
looks and behaves exactly as the old one (in my opinion) was a flawless piece
of work?
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use 5.20.90 and Open the Applauncher
2. Try to get to your History
